We are in the power-packed month of May.
You may ask why May is described so powerfully?
The Lord has placed it on the Ministry Team’s heart that this month’s sermon series is to be titled “Dunamis Power”

Dunamis is derived from a Greek word meaning “Power” or “potential” or “ability”. It is the word in which “dynamite” is derived from, it refers to the mixture of chemicals that results in an explosion, releasing tremendous power or energy. The Holy Spirit gives us the power and ability to do what we cannot do on our own.

Acts 1:8: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
This month, the Lord wants us to explore His Dunamis Power through the 4 verbs: Enable, Equip, Empower, and Expect. As we look forward to Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit first came to enable, equip, and empower those in the Upper Room, we can expect  Him to do the very same in our lives today!
