It has been an incredible few weeks learning about a prayer model that one honorable man named Jabez from 1 Chronicles 4 prayed. A prayer which came from a place within him that said "I will not focus on the pain I came from or the pain and disaster of my life right now, but instead, I will speak God's heart about my life and have faith in Him to know that He will turn things around because He has Blessing, Influence, His Presence and Protection planned for me".
We continued this series this past Sunday, by discussing God's Protection for Jabez and us, which is the 4th part of his prayer model.
Uniquely enough our message series for the month of October is titled "It’s War" and this last part to the prayer of Jabez deals with Spiritual Warfare which starts the moment you receive Christ into your life. The Ministry team this month will be sharing encouragement and strategy to help us stand firm against our enemy as our Lord fights our battles.
